Frequently asked questions
The Interialist provides full-service interior design, guiding clients through every stage of the project—from the initial property viewing or idea conception to final styling and
completion.
Our services include concept development, spatial planning, material and finish selection, bespoke solutions, coordination with specialists, and overall project direction. We also offer standalone styling services for clients who want expert advice or finishing touches without a full project.
Yes. We work on projects of various scales, from full-home interiors to more focused design questions. During the initial conversation, we assess what level of support best fits your project.
Our full-service interior design is focused on comprehensive projects rather than single-room redesigns. We guide clients from concept to completion, ensuring every detail is carefully considered.
For clients with a smaller scope, we oAer a dedicated interior consultation. During this two-hour session, we review your space, discuss your ideas, and answer all questions in depth, providing clear and practical advice that you can apply independently.
Our approach is contemporary, refined, and personal. Rather than following a fixed style, we focus on creating interiors that feel balanced, timeless, and tailored to the client’s lifestyle, preferences, and the architectural context of the space. Each project is bespoke and shaped by how the space is used and experienced.
We work with a structured, phased approach with clear deliverables at every stage.
Typical phases include:
• Concept design
• Spatial layouts and zoning
• Material and finish proposals
• Custom detailing and furniture planning
• Execution guidance and project supervision
Throughout the process, we collaborate closely with interior builders, contractors, and, when necessary, architects, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to reality. For projects involving permits or structural adjustments, architects are engaged
early in the process.
Yes. We design within clear financial parameters from the outset. A transparent budget helps us prioritize, make informed design decisions, and deliver an outcome that feels cohesive and well-balanced.
Yes. Our interior consultation sessions are particularly suitable for remote delivery, and some full-service project phases can also be supported online. Remote collaboration works well for clients outside Amsterdam or for focused design guidance.
The timeline depends on the size and complexity of the project. Smaller projects, such as consultations or styling, may take a few weeks until a finalized plan is delivered. Full-service projects, involving multiple phases and implementation, often take several months from concept to completion. During the initial intake, we provide a clear schedule with milestones and deliverables.
Yes. We collaborate with a trusted network of professionals we work with regularly, including contractors, interior builders, and suppliers. Architects are involved when necessary for permits or structural modifications. This network ensures quality, efficiency, and continuity throughout every project.
Fees depend on the scope, scale, and complexity of the project. After the initial intake, we provide a transparent proposal outlining the phases, deliverables, and associated costs.
You can start by contacting us via the website form or by email. We will then invite you to a digital intake, where we gather project details, preferences, and requirements before
the first consultation.
