The Interialist is a full-service design studio led by a small, dedicated team — founded by Manon Kromwijk Smits.
Shaped by curiosity, instinct, and a love for spaces with character, we approach each project with focus and care. Every design is a creative exchange between people and place, architecture and atmosphere, craft and personality.
Inspiration is drawn from travels to favourite destinations like South Africa, Asia and the South of France. These influences translate into a love for warm colours and interesting textures from around the world. These elements are woven into a refined yet expressive composition, shaping interiors that feel personal, distinctive and timeless.

Based in Amsterdam, we work at the heart of high-end design, with access to the city’s finest suppliers and craftspeople. Our strength lies in guiding the entire renovation process with our trusted network of contractors, architects and bespoke interior builders. From the very first viewing to the final details, our meticulous eye for flow and detail ensures every aspect is thoughtfully considered — saving time, preventing errors, and adding lasting value.
